gender equality in emergencies, DRR, and humanitarian action
climate change and green transition
girls’ education and skills development
prevention of gender-based violence (GBV)
shifting gender norms and positive socialization in early childhood
targeted results for adolescent girls
implementation of UNICEF’s Gender Action Plan and Policy (accountability, partnerships, evidence generation).

Experience: 23+ years in international development, including:

Regional Gender Adviser in South Asia (UNICEF)
work in Afghanistan, Nigeria, and humanitarian contexts
leadership in system strengthening, national priority programmes, organizational development, governance, and poverty reduction.

Education: PhD, Indian Institute of Technology, New Delhi, India.
